…in Pittsburgh, PA, on August 20^th, at the Abstractions conference, on the invitation of Code & Supply, an organization that “nurture[s] Pittsburgh's growing tech community,” to give his speech “Free Software and Your Freedom”¹ to an audience of over 1500 professional developers involved in all aspects of development, from design to management to back-end engineering to front-end development and more:

…and in Fresno, CA, where, on the invitation of the Clovis ACM Student Chapter, he gave his speech “What Makes Digital Inclusion Good or Bad?”² on September 27^th:
